What is Kaji?

“Kaji” is a very old Japanese term that loosely translated means “the flow of healing energy.” In many Asian health practices the concept of good health revolves around the idea that when one’s personal Vital Force (ki) is in harmony on is healthy and happy on many levels. Disease, or dis-ease, comes from having one’s ki in a state of disharmony.

Modern medical science recognizes that stress and tension are major factors in over 75% of our health problems. The therapies used by Kaji are designed to produce deep relaxation. When you are in a relaxed state your body’s natural healing abilities are able to more effectively do what they are designed for. Nothing can be a more natural way to help with many health problems than your body’s own healing mechanisms. Energetic based Asian therapies are performed while the client remains fully clothed.

What can you expect?

During a Jin Shin Jyutsu® session the therapist goes through a combination of hand placements on the clients safety energy locks. These combinations of hand placements are called flows. Several flows may be performed in the course of a session. In a Reiki session the therapist may place their hands in close proximity to the clients primary chakras or an area of the body that needs relaxation.

What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?

Jin Shin Jyutsu®, also known as JSJ, has ancient roots in Japanese culture. JSJ brings balance to the body’s energies, which promotes optimal health and wellbeing. It is a valuable complement to conventional healing methods, inducing relaxation and reducing the effects of stress. JSJ employs twenty-six “safety energy locks” along energy pathways that feed life into our bodies. Holding these energy locks in combination can bring balance to mind, body, and spirit.

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is another Japanese technique of stress reduction. It too is ancient in origin. It was re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s. Reiki is administered by “laying of hands”. Reiki is a very simple yet powerful technique.

What is Integrated Massage?
